Zavier Chavez is a sophomore concentrating in Philosophy, with a particular interest in applied ethics and political philosophy, especially for geopolitics. Other topic fields he studies include animal welfare and advocacy, pedagogical philosophy, and military ethics. On campus, Zavier serves as a Freshman Peer Advising Fellow and campus officer for Project Access, writes for Harvard College Children’s Stories, discusses topics in ethics for the Harvard Ethics Bowl team and Effective Altruism, and trains with the Paul Revere Army ROTC Battalion.
