Susan joined the Center in March 2021 as Assistant to the Director supporting the Center's Faculty Director and the Founding Director on a variety of research initiatives and activities. She also serves as liaison between the Director and faculty, students, EJSCE community, Harvard departments, and other academic and external constituents.

Susan earned her associate degree from the University of New Hampshire, graduating with high honors, after many years working full-time and taking classes at night. She is now a senior, continuing her goal of earning a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts. Prior to joining the Center, Susan worked in a variety of supportive and management roles in higher education, disability rights, and radio.

During her personal time, Susan is never bored. When she is not doing homework, she is an avid fiber enthusiast, including knitting, quilting, and spinning. She also loves to read, draw, and play board games; and she never met a jigsaw puzzle or sudoku that she didn’t like.
