Mikael Tessema is a senior in Lowell House concentrating in Government. He is interested in the relationship between political discourse and political theory, with particular regard to theories of equality and their evolution in the public sphere. On campus, he volunteers for the Small Claim Advisory Service at Phillips Brooks House, serves on the board of Primus, Harvard’s first-generation student affinity group, and is a member of the Institute of Politics’ Fellows Selection Committee.
