Manon Garcia received her PhD in Philosophy from the Université Paris 1-Panthéon Sorbonne in July 2017. A former student from the École normale supérieure, she also holds a master’s degree in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po and Polytechnique, during which course of study she worked on feminist economics. Her areas of research include feminist philosophy, the philosophy of economics, and sociopolitical philosophy. Her dissertation analyzed the problem of consent to submission in the light of gender difference. During her fellowship year, Manon Garcia will further develop her research in the field of feminist political philosophy of economics.
