Hansoo Choi holds a BA from Seoul National University and a MA from University of Pittsburgh. His work mainly sheds light on how motives for committing a corrupt act differ with bureaucracy selection procedure. Using white-collar criminal data sets, he empirically examined corruption rooted in South Korea's judiciary system.
