Professor Meira Levinson was appointed the Juliana W. and William Foss Thompson Professor of Education and Society at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The chair is intended for a scholar whose work advances “the study of education and its societal context, including its relationship to economic, political and public factors” and who has demonstrated extraordinary service to HGSE. Professor Levinson is the Co-Director of the Graduate Fellowship Program and Director of the DKP Design Studio at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics.
