Post #12: We’re hiring for two student researcher positions on our Business AI Ethics team

Are you a Harvard student interested in AI ethics aligned to the business community? Our weekly essays published on this site will give you a solid foundation of our research and work to date. We are aiming to hire two current Harvard students (part time) for the 2024-2025 academic year for the following positions:

  1. Research Assistant. In furtherance of our Business AI Ethics initiative, we are seeking a student-researcher. While we are flexible with the background and experiences of the researcher, it would be helpful if the student had some exposure to the philosophical underpinnings of ethics theory, along with some experience in the business world. Conducting research and drafting regular essays / blog entries will serve as the anchor activities for this position.
  2. Research Assistant/Coordinator. The student serving in this role will conduct research and draft summary essays / blog entries in support of this initiative, and will be principally responsible for overall research management of this Business AI Ethics research initiative, including scheduling and planning readouts with interested communities within and outside Harvard; assisting with coordinating on-campus events for board directors and/or members of the C-Suite; Harvard and external ecosystem community alignment; management of media interviews and article placement; management of our ethics blog; etc.

Please reach out to Jeff at jeffreysaviano@fas.harvard.edu if you are interested in either of these positions. Include your CV and a cover-letter expressing your interest in the position.
