Lucas Stanczyk
Lucas Stanczyk is Assistant Professor of Philosophy. He works on topics at the intersection of political philosophy and political economy. His current research is focused on various aspects of economic justice, the ethics of climate change, and the philosophy of economics. He teaches classes and helps others work on each of these topics. Before joining the Philosophy Department at Harvard, he was Assistant Professor of Political Science at MIT, LSR Faculty Fellow at Princeton University and Watson Postdoctoral Fellow at Brown University. He completed his PhD in political science at Harvard and studied law, literature, and political theory at McGill.

Lucas was an Edmond J. Safra Graduate Fellow in Ethics during the 2007-08 academic year and became a Faculty Associate of the Center in 2017.
