Satoshi Yanaizu is a sophomore from Japan concentrating in Social Studies. He is interested in moral and political philosophy, especially social contract tradition and global justice. His longtime passion also includes geopolitical rivalry as well as the role of multilateral institutions in nuclear disarmament. Outside of academics, Satoshi competes for Harvard’s parliamentary debate team, serves as a director of the Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative, and edits for the undergraduate journal in international affairs.
