Sarah Wu

Sarah Wu

Sarah Wu is a senior concentrating in Social Studies. She is interested in contemporary theories of justice, postwar capitalism and culture, the internet, urbanism, and art, among other things. On campus, she helped lead the Peer Advising Fellows program and served on the Presidential Task Force on Inclusion and Belonging. When not editing stories at The Crimson, she enjoys taking and looking at photos and spending time outside, especially by the water—despite being a terrible swimmer. She has interned at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society and The Seattle Times.

With funding from the Lester Kissel Grant in Practical Ethics, Sarah plans to explore ethical questions related to gentrification. She hopes that her summer fieldwork in Manhattan’s Chinatown will inform her normative research.
