Riley Carney

Riley is a senior concentrating in Government. She is interested in the intersection between political psychology and ethics, specifically cognitive biases, their behavioral effects, and the implications for forward-thinking. Her senior thesis is centered on systemic social inequality, institutional discrimination, and political engagement. In addition to her academic interests, Riley is also a published author of a five-book series for adolescents and the Founder and Director of a nonprofit organization for children’s literacy.
