Jonathan Bruno is a PhD candidate in Government. He has broad interests in democratic theory, constitutionalism, and the history of political thought. Jonathan's doctoral research focuses on the concept of political transparency, especially its intellectual history and its significance for and limits in modern politics. A former Harvard Presidential Fellow and Democracy Fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance & Innovation, Jonathan graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School (JD 2013) and from Oberlin College (BA 2007) with High Honors in Economics. He has served as a Teaching Fellow for a variety of courses in ethics and political theory.
