Gerard Vong received his DPhil in Philosophy from the University of Oxford in 2013. He has taught at Fordham University and the University of Oxford and has been a Procter Fellow at Princeton University. During the fellowship year, Vong ethically evaluated the role of chance in healthcare allocation in a book provisionally entitled "Fair Chances and Healthcare," and pursued research on the value of opportunity for human well-being.
