Emily Bromley

Assistant Director of Fellowships and Programs
Emily Bromley

Emily leads the Center's fellowship programs and non-initiative programming and events. Previously, she was the administrator responsible for Center Director Danielle Allen's distributed research lab, the Democratic Knowledge Project. She began working at the Center in the spring of 2013, editing the Institutional Corruption Lab's Working Paper series and later managing the Lab's blog posts, as well as maintaining the Center website. Beginning in the summer of 2014, she took on the role of research assistant to Director-Emeritus Dennis F. Thompson. In addition, she has previous experience with the Center's fellowship programs, as she coordinated some of them for a year before moving on to take on additional responsibilities for Director Allen.

Emily is a former lawyer and much prefers her current, less argumentative career. Emily has also discovered that, once primed to notice typographical errors, it is impossible to stop seeing them in every form of printed material. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and container gardening, but only grows things she can eat.
