The Ethics Center received several gifts in support of its core activities from Daniel Steiner, former General Council and Vice President at Harvard. He joined the Center as a Senior Scholar in Ethics during the academic year 1992-1993, and participated in the Fellows seminar and many other activities. Mr. Steiner died in 2006.
