Charlie Conroy is a Professor of Astronomy. He is also a senior member of the Institute for Theory and Computation (ITC) at the Center for Astrophysics (CfA) and the Director of Graduate Studies for the Astronomy Department. In 2013 he was awarded an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship and a Packard Fellowship in Science and Engineering and in 2017 was awarded the Helen B. Warner Prize from the AAS. His group studies a broad range of topics in the fields of galaxy formation, stellar evolution, stellar spectroscopy, and stellar populations using both observational and theoretical tools.  

He received his PhD in Astrophysics from Princeton University in 2010, and a B.A. in Physics & Astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005.
