Apoorva Rangan

Apoorva Rangan is a senior pursuing a joint concentration in Philosophy and Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology. She is interested in normative questions about illness, death, and dying.Outside the classroom and lab, she volunteers for a legal aid organization, serves as a peer counselor and campus EMT, and runs the River Charles Ensemble, a conductorless chamber orchestra.

With support from the Lester Kissel Grant in Practical Ethics, Apoorva will study the justifiability of anti-aging interventions and the professional duties of translational researchers. This work will contribute to a joint thesis, alongside her research on cell therapies for age-associated muscle diseases at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute (HSCI).
