Amelia Goldberg is a senior at Harvard College. She is pursuing a degree in Social Studies and has written extensively about the #MeToo Movement. In her senior thesis, she will be exploring gender and nation in American environmentalism. Her summer research will be an ethnographic project about one environmental organization close to her heart, the Clearwater, an environmental advocacy and education organization in the Hudson River Valley, NY. Beyond the classroom, she is also a core of anti-rape culture student group Our Harvard Can Do Better. She was an Institute of Politics Director's Intern with Rise, an organization that passes civil rights for sexual assault survivors, and is currently their Refugee Rights Coordinator. When not hunched over her computer, she can be found biking, dancing with the Harvard-Radcliffe Modern Dance Company, and talking to her cat.
