Alexander Bryan is a political philosopher with research interests in theories of freedom, economic justice, and political resistance. Before coming to Harvard, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Tel Aviv University, and received his PhD in Law from King’s College London in 2020. As a Fellow at the Harvard Center for Ethics, his research will explore the concept of a right to resist domination, providing both a conceptual analysis of this right and outlining the kinds of resistance that may be justified when it is properly understood.
