Martha Minow Named University Professor

Faculty Associate Martha Minow, the Carter Professor of General Jurisprudence at Harvard Law School, a Harvard University Distinguished Service Professor, and former Dean of Harvard Law School, has been named a University Professor. This is the University's highest faculty honor. 

Minow has twice served as Acting Director of the Center, during the academic years 1993-94 and 2000-01, while Professor Dennis F. Thompson was on sabbatical leave. Additionally, Minow was Senior Scholar in Ethics in 1991-92 and was a charter member of the Faculty Committee, serving in this capacity from 1987-2009.

She will begin her appointment as 300th Anniversary University Professor on July 1. Congratulations, Martha!
