Abstract:

To use artificial intelligence (AI) in health care, AI researchers and organizations need to follow appropriate ethical guidelines and frameworks when developing AI-powered technologies. In recent years, many ethical frameworks for AI have been proposed but these frameworks have tended to be abstract and not specify "how" research in AI should be conducted. In this talk, I shall propose some substantive ethical considerations that AI researchers and organizations should take into account when conducting research in AI and healthcare.
