POSTPONED - Educational Ethics: A Field-launching Conference

Date:

Fri - Sat, May 1 to May 2, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Location:

Gutman Conference Center, Harvard Graduate School of Education

We regret to announce that we must postpone Educational Ethics: A Field-Launching Conference and the International Normative Case Study Workshop and Network Initiative until the 2020-2021 academic year, due to new coronavirus-related restrictions on travel and on large gatherings at Harvard.

We are grateful to everyone who set aside time in their calendars to participate in this initiative, and we look forward to announcing the new dates soon.

The conference aims to build a global field of educational ethics, modeled in some ways after bioethics, that is philosophically rigorous, disciplinarily and experientially inclusive, and both relevant to and informed by educational policy and practice. It convenes a range of distinguished participants from different disciplinary backgrounds to consider the contours of such a field and to examine both perennial and novel questions within the field of educational ethics.
