The EJ Safra Center is proud to co-sponsor this event in the HMS Center for Bioethics' "Contemporary Authors in Bioethics" series, which brings together authors and the community to discuss books that explore new and developing topics in the field. Author Alondra Nelson, PhD, discusses her book "The Social Life of DNA: Race, reparations, and reconciliation after the genome."

Dr. Nelson is President of the Social Science Research Council and Professor in the Department of Sociology, Columbia University.
