Mónica joined the Center in August 2016 as the Director of Administration. Prior to joining the Center, she worked at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies where she served in different capacities for nearly ten years. In her last role at the Rockefeller Center, Monica was responsible for the financial management of the Center’s offices and programs overseas. In addition, she managed the Center’s Faculty Grants Program. Monica graduated cum laude with an A.L.B degree from Harvard Extension School. In the spring of 2017, she is set to pursue a Master’s in Leadership and Administration at Boston College. Monica is passionate about mentoring others and helping them achieve their personal or professional goals. She enjoys cooking alongside her husband and spending time with her family. Her topics of interest include women’s issues, civil rights issues, and issues related to access to education for people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
