Garrett Lam

Garrett Lam is a senior studying Neurobiology and Philosophy. The questions that keep him up at night are ones about consciousness and ethics. Garrett has conducted optogenetic research in Shanghai, and in the summer of 2014 he received a fellowship to study free will at Cambridge University. His thesis will explore the intersection between neuroscience and philosophy, which he believes has unrealized implications for reform in criminal law. He is an Effective Altruist Fellow and the Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Review of Philosophy.
