Gabriel Karger

Gabriel Karger

Gabriel Karger is a senior concentrating in Social Studies. His normative interests include moral desert, compensation, culpability, and the usefulness of moral intuitions. When he isn't discussing thought experiments, Gabriel is often at Ultimate practice. He has interned in the past for The Sunlight Foundation in Washington D.C., and serves as the Vice President of Community Relations for Harvard Hillel, where he was previously a member of the Steering Committee.

His senior thesis, financed by the Lester Kissel Grant in Practical Ethics, explores problems that arise in thinking about principles in moral deliberation, particularly in instances in which the same moral principle is deployed in contradictory ways in responding to different moral questions.
