Beth Truesdale, 2015-16 Graduate Fellow, and HKS Professor Christopher Jencks receive Equitable Growth Grant

Christopher Jencks, Malcolm Wiener Professor of Social Policy, Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, and Beth Truesdale Ph.D. candidate in Sociology, Harvard University, and 2015-16 Graduate Fellow, were awarded one of 19 Equitable Growth grants in its 2016 round of grantmaking for projects analyzing whether and how structural changes in the U.S. economy affect economic growth and stability. The subject of their research is “The effects of income inequality on health disparities in the United States” and will be co-funded with the Russell Sage Foundation. Full press release here.
