Through its support of faculty fellowships and graduate fellowships in ethics, as well as its public lecture series, conferences and interfaculty collaborations, the Center has developed a large community of teachers and scholars dedicated to the study of practical ethics. The Center offers to its fellows a stimulating environment with opportunities for high level scholarly exchange with colleagues, faculty, and distinguished visiting speakers; and a rich network of intellectual resources unique to Harvard. Faculty CommitteeCommittee members are appointed by the Provost and represent the University's professional schools and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The Committee reviews fellowship applications, selects the recipients, and advises the Director on all significant matters of policy related to the Center. Arthur Isak Applbaum Directory:
